How MyntTip collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
MyntTip is a social recognition platform operated by Badmus Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as MyntTip ("MyntTip," "we," "us," or "our"). Our platform allows hourly workers ("Workers") to receive recognition gifts ("Mynts") from their personal Support Circle ("Supporters") when they hit workplace milestones ("Wins").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the MyntTip mobile application, the website at www.mynttip.com, or any related service (collectively, the "Service"). It applies to both Workers and Supporters.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at hello@mynttip.com.
We collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the Service:
Before your first cashout, you must complete identity verification through Stripe. This process collects information including your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, U.S. Social Security Number (last four digits or full SSN as required by law), and a government-issued photo identification. Stripe collects and processes this information directly under Stripe's Privacy Policy. MyntTip receives confirmation of verification status and limited associated data needed to operate your account.
To receive cashouts, you provide bank account information (routing and account numbers) through Stripe. Stripe processes and stores this information directly. MyntTip never stores your full bank account number on our servers.
When a Supporter purchases a Mynt bundle, we receive the Supporter's name, email address, mobile phone number (when applicable), and a record of the Mynt purchase. The Supporter's payment information (card number, billing address, etc.) is collected and processed by Stripe directly under Stripe's Privacy Policy. MyntTip does not store full payment card information.
When a Worker adds someone to their Support Circle, we receive that person's name (as provided by the Worker) and mobile phone number for the limited purpose of sending Win notifications.
For Workers who reach applicable cashout thresholds, we collect Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) information needed for tax reporting under U.S. law, as described in Section 8 of our Terms of Service.
We use the information we collect to:
MyntTip sends SMS messages only for the following purposes: one-time verification codes (OTP) for account authentication, account security alerts, Win recognition notifications (for Workers and Supporters), cashout status notifications (for Workers), and other Service-related transactional messages.
You must actively opt in to receive SMS communications during account registration. We will not send you SMS messages before you have provided explicit consent.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out of non-essential SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@mynttip.com. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive OTP codes required for account authentication.
Your mobile phone number will never be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
MyntTip uses Stripe to process Mynt purchases by Supporters and to process Mynt cashouts to Workers. Stripe is an independent payment processor with its own privacy practices.
When you provide payment information, identity verification information, or bank account information in connection with the Service, that information is collected by and provided directly to Stripe. Stripe receives, stores, and processes this information in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy, which is independent of this Privacy Policy.
Information processed by Stripe may include:
To enable payment processing, we share information about your MyntTip account, transactions, and activity with Stripe. This includes Worker account creation, Mynt cashout instructions, supporter purchase metadata, and information needed to respond to Stripe's risk and compliance requests.
Stripe processes information for purposes that include payment processing, identity verification, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and improvement of Stripe's services. MyntTip is not responsible for Stripe's privacy practices and does not control how Stripe uses information it collects directly. To understand how Stripe handles your information, please review Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Stripe may store and process information in the United States and in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that information collected by Stripe may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries outside your country of residence, in accordance with Stripe's privacy practices and applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
We share data with trusted third-party providers solely to operate the MyntTip platform. These include:
These providers receive only the information they need to perform their services and are contractually bound to protect your information.

When required by law, we share information with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and applicable state tax authorities for the purpose of issuing tax information returns (such as IRS Form 1099-K or Form 1099-NEC) and complying with information reporting obligations.
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyntTip, our users, or others, or to investigate or prevent fraud, security threats, or violations of our Terms of Service.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent to the sharing.
